Aw yeah! Check this out. This past week, I’ve been adding all kinds of content to this site. Most of it is archived work from the last couple of years. Some of it is brand spanking new. I noticed as I was uploading illustrations, visitors won’t know what’s just been added unless I write up a post to let them know. Then again, exploring galleries of artwork is part of the fun. So go click around for a while. there will be something you havn’t seen yet.  Comix Rock: Art & Music Showcase Much news to report. What you see on the left is a poster I designed for a show I’m helping to organize. What kind of show? Well, this show celebrates the release of a comic anthology my comic artists’ group (Indy Webcomics Group) has put together. It also launches the first night my group of artists has their work on display at the Local’s Only Art & Music Pub. The artwork will stay up through May. We’ve teamed up with the Creme De Les Femmes burlesque troupe to bring Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School to the party. This Dr. Sketchy’s will be super hero themed with the girls is costumes and capes. Prizes will be donated by Hero House Comics. And all attendees will receive free goody bags courtesy of Hero House. I’m also helping to create a mini-comic featuring the Femmes models as their superhero characters. Each page will be illustrated by a different IWG artist. The mini comic will also include a pinup of each girl as their character. And last but not least, 3 local and very awesome bands will finish off the evening for us. The Dirty Thirty, Beta Male and Destination: Earth! That’s a lot of awesome packed into a $6 cover. It’s going to be an awesome night. Finally found a wordpress theme easy enough for even me to edit. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if I get tired of it and scrap it before a year is out. I don’t know what it is about me and websites. I have great ideas, but no idea how to go about executing them. And every time I try, I get so worried about how it looks and how much it doesn’t look like how I imagined it and I end up putting it off. Well if that trend continued, I’d never have a website. So, better to just put up something and get on with it. Can’t wait to start filling up the place with artwork. Well, it seems I can’t go a week without starting a new wordpress blog. And this week is no exception. I’m happy to say I finally have the time to blow off the dust, brush away the cobwebs and breath some life into this old url. Stay tuned as I plan to get back into illustrating on a more regular basis, this site will see updates. As well as an archive of everything I’ve illustrated in the last year or so, maybe even some of my corporate design work. It begins. |
